Yo-Zuri Superbraid fishing line utilizes the HIP (Head Integration Process) technology, which means the fibers (tightly braided micro pitch braid) are adhered firmly to each other by performing a heat treatment. 

 Yo-Zuri Superbraid fishing line  has a silicone coating, making it rounder, smoother and more abrasion-resistant.  

The color pink added to the fishing line helps reduce this problem and maintain invisibility. Ultimately the combination of fluorocarbon and the color pink can double the invisibility factor.  The abrasion resistance is incredible, provides ultimate invisibility, higher sensitivity, superior knot strength, and is a softer, more supple material.

Yo-Zuri Disappearing Pink Fluorocarbon fishing line - Maximizing the advantages of fluorocarbon and a Disappearing Pink tint. Fluorocarbon is virtually invisible in the water, red is the first colour to disappear in the water column. Pink is the lightest shade of red and as a result, disappears the quickest.  Fluorocarbon is also only invisible until it gets nicked or scraped up. If this happens, that section of the leader actually lights up from the sunlight.
